He completed his high school education at Bursa Erkek Lisesi.
He completed his university education in Germany at Düsseldorf University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After completing his studies, he worked as a project engineer for energy plants at Mannesmann Anlagenbau. He took on various roles at the Mannesmann Reisholz pipe factory. He served as the Technical Manager for 10 years, starting from the initial opening of the Ankara Hilton.
